MetricsWatch vs Oviond: Report Sender or Report Builder?

MetricsWatch vs Oviond comparison card

Oviond and MetricsWatch both turn a client's marketing data into a branded report that goes out on a schedule, so agencies weigh them against each other. They take different routes. Oviond is a reporting platform: for each client you build a multi-page report or a live dashboard, starting from a template, then share it by link, scheduled email or embed. MetricsWatch is a report sender: you connect a client's accounts, pick a report template, and it emails the finished report, in the body of the email, on a schedule.

This comparison is on the MetricsWatch blog, so read it knowing whose product we sell. Every Oviond fact below was checked against Oviond's own website, pricing page and help center on 1 November 2026.

The short version

Pick Oviond if you want to design your own multi-page reports and live client dashboards, serve them on your own domain and send them from your own email address, and connect a wide range of sources (Oviond lists more than 70). It prices by client, from 10 clients up, with every feature on every plan.

Pick MetricsWatch if what you deliver is a recurring client report on GA4, Search Console, ads, social and email, and you want it set up from a template and read in the client's inbox, without laying out pages and widgets for each client first.

Setup: what you need to know before the first report goes out

Oviond's own quick start checklist and "create your first client report" guide set out the path: add the client, create a report or dashboard project for that client, connect or select the data sources inside the project, add pages and widgets, check the data, apply your branding, then share the report or schedule it. Templates shorten this. Oviond says it offers agency-ready templates and that with one you "have a report worth sending before the kickoff call ends". Its help center also advises starting with one client and one report, and testing an automation before you rely on it for client delivery.

The know-how Oviond asks for is report design. You choose what goes on each page and drag in the metrics, charts and commentary each client needs, with calculated metrics, goals and custom data imports when you want them. Oviond puts the bar this way: "If your team can build a slide deck, they can build a client report in Oviond." If you enjoy shaping a report, that is the point of the tool. If you would rather not make those decisions for every client, it is the part that takes the time.

MetricsWatch starts from a report template: connect GA4, Search Console, Google Ads or the client's other accounts, preview the report, add your own commentary, and set the schedule. The person setting it up needs to know which numbers the client cares about. There are no pages or widgets to lay out.

The cost that comes back with every new client

Setup is not a one-time cost for an agency. It resurfaces every time you sign a client.

In Oviond, a new client is a new client workspace: add the client, create its project, connect its sources and apply a template. Oviond's help center says that after applying a template you should always review the data sources and widgets for that specific client. On billing, a new client adds one client to your count, and sources do not affect your bill.

In MetricsWatch, a new client means a new report, built from a template and pointed at that client's accounts. Plans are sized by report count (2, 25 or 100), and adding a report inside your plan costs nothing extra.

Ready to streamline your reporting?

MetricsWatch pulls twelve sources into one white-label report, delivered on your schedule: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Google Sheets, Microsoft Advertising, Facebook Ads, Facebook Pages, Instagram, LinkedIn Ads, LinkedIn Pages, and Mailchimp. Starts at $49/month. 14-day free trial, no credit card required.

Running without babysitting

Oviond says it keeps every report and dashboard up to date and sends them on schedule. Scheduled delivery is an automation that sends a report to chosen recipients on a recurring schedule, such as daily, weekly or monthly, with your choice of sender and subject line and an optional PDF attachment. A report can also be shared by public link, and a dashboard is a live view: Oviond's phrase is "send the link once and it stays current".

MetricsWatch sends daily, weekly or monthly, with the full report in the email body, so the client reads it without logging in anywhere or opening a file. If you also want a link or a PDF, you can turn on a shareable report URL with an optional password, and the client can open the report in a browser or download it as a PDF. You can preview a report before it goes to the client. We could not find Oviond documentation saying its scheduled email carries the full report in the body of the email.

Branding

Oviond includes white-label on every plan: your logo, colours and themes on reports and dashboards, verified custom domains (one custom-domain slot per client slot on its published plans), and branded email sending from your agency's own address once the sender is verified.

MetricsWatch includes white-label branding on every plan: your logo and colours, and a logo per client report. MetricsWatch does not offer a custom domain, and reports are sent from our default sending address.

Where Oviond goes further

  • Live client dashboards as well as reports, shared by link or embedded where your client already looks.
  • Your own domain for shared reports and dashboards, and report emails sent from your agency's own address.
  • More than 70 data sources, with Google Sheets and custom data imports for anything outside the catalogue.
  • Full control over report design: pages, widgets, calculated metrics and goals.

Where MetricsWatch goes further

  • The full report goes in the body of the client's email, so the client reads it without clicking through to a link or opening an attachment. We could not find Oviond documentation saying its scheduled email does the same.
  • Less to decide per client: a report template, the client's accounts and a schedule, with no pages to lay out. Oviond's templates shorten its build too, and its help center says to review each client's data sources and widgets after applying one.

Pricing, side by side

Oviond prices by client. On its pricing page, it is $5 per client per month on month-to-month billing, with a 10-client minimum, so the smallest plan is $50 per month. Annual billing lowers that to $4 per client per month, billed yearly ($40 per month at 10 clients, $480 a year). Published self-serve pricing covers 10 to 100 clients; above 100, Oviond quotes volume pricing through sales. Every feature is included at every client count, and Oviond says it charges no per-seat, data source, white-label, API or support fees.

MetricsWatch prices by report. It is $49 per month for 2 reports (Startup), $149 per month for 25 reports (Pro) and $399 per month for 100 reports (Agency), billed monthly; annual billing is 10 times the monthly price. White-label is on every plan.

For an agency sending one report per client, on monthly billing: at 2 clients, MetricsWatch Startup is $49 per month and Oviond's 10-client minimum is $50 per month. At 25 clients, MetricsWatch Pro is $149 per month and Oviond is $125 per month. At 100 clients, MetricsWatch Agency is $399 per month and Oviond is $500 per month. On annual billing, the 100-client figures are $3,990 a year for MetricsWatch (about $333 per month) and $400 per month billed yearly for Oviond. If you send more than one report per client, Oviond's per-client count works in its favour, because it includes unlimited reports and dashboards for each client.
